LADIES APPRECIATION DINNER

The men of Council #2269 would like to offer a small thank you to all the ladies who help to support the council in its activities and charitable fundraisers by inviting them to an appreciation dinner.  The dinner will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2003, following the 5:00 PM Mass.  The evening will consist of a steak dinner, an open bar, followed by fellowship for all.  The evening is free for all ladies, but for any of the men who would like to attend, the cost will be $15.00.  This is meant to include all the ladies who help support the council in any way, whether that be through the Ladies Auxiliary, working at or bringing desserts to the fish fries, helping out at our special events, or just for simply supporting your husband’s (or significant other) participation in the Knights.  We couldn’t possibly do it without you, and we hope you will join us to accept this small token of our appreciation. If you wish to attend, please call Bill Wolf at 272-3154 or e-mail at wwolf@mail.win.org by August 16 to reserve a great meal, and an evening of fun.  Any of the men who would be interested in helping to plan or work the dinner please call Mike Saali at 978-7754.

DUES

On the annual dues notice, there are two voluntary assessments listed, one for $7.50 for the Religious Information Bureau and one for $5.00 for local Catholic Education Fund.   We hope all will be generous.  The financial secretary has recently sent out second notices to those members in arrears and asks that the members pay as soon as possible.
